DrillBase Compare
Compare your drillhole databases for mining exploration.
Track changes in your geological databases and mining exploration databases built from drillholes. Match drillholes and intervals across two versions of your database, identify differences and check their quality. From import to 3D viewing and exports, calculations run in your browser: drillhole data and results are not transmitted to servers. Access by invitation.
Specialized Modules
Import and map both databases
Load the old and new drillhole databases as CSV, TXT, XLSX or XLS. Review detected delimiters, sheets, column roles and units before comparing.
Interval-by-interval comparison
Identify new, missing or deepened holes, shifted collars, and values that were changed, filled or cleared. Harmonize ppm, g/t and % units.
Integrated quality control
Check both databases for overlaps, gaps, duplicates, doglegs, missing codes and below-detection-limit values.
Envelopes and statistics
Compare interval statistics by solid or block-model domain: weighted statistics, cut-offs, histograms and probability plots.
Explore differences in 3D
View traces and intervals coloured by status or grade, alongside envelopes, plans and sections. Adjust the legend to examine changes in their spatial context.
Exports for your next steps
Export difference tables as CSV or XLSX, solids as OBJ, STL, DXF or Surpac, and a desurveyed table for your estimation workflow. The application compares data; it does not perform resource estimation.
